5 Amazon Travel Essentials

When it comes to travel, I have a routine and things I simply cannot leave my house without. On top of it feeding my Amazon addiction, I am always in the constant lookout for the next best travel hack or must have. So here I am…feeding YOUR Amazon addiction, by sharing the things you absolutely need for your next trip!

1. AirTags

I CANNOT stress this enough. AirTags are an absolute MUST. The horror stories of airlines losing travelers bags have made me put AirTags in absolutely everything. For those who don’t know, AirTags are a small quarter size GPS tracker for anything you can put it on. The way it works (if it’s lost), it bounces off “signals” to iPhones around it and those signals are then sent to you. So unlike other small trackers, these do not need to be constantly connected to your phones bluetooth in order to find them. I recommend putting them in your checked bag, carry-on, purse, wallet, boyfriend, camera, passport case, and even yourself. If you are that person that wanders around while you’re with friends, put one in your pocket and share the location with your friends for an extra level of safety. A pack of 4 is $89 on Amazon and a single pack is $29. Shop here for them.

2. Packing Cubes

I am no longer an overpacker…kinda! Packing cubes have made my packing so much easier. They compress your clothes and you are able to fit a lot more into your bags! As someone who only uses their carry-on and never checks their bag (that’s for another blog), these have been a life-saver. Highly recommend getting a pack with different sizes so you are able to divide your clothing. Packing cubes can range from $10 all the way up to $50+. Shop here for my favorite ones.

3. Carry-On Backpack

As I mentioned, I never check my bags! Therefore, I need to maximize my space when it comes to my carry-ons. This carry-on backpack can be used as a personal item in airlines but it fits almost just as much as a carry-on luggage! So TECHNICALLY you are getting the space of two carry-on luggages! This has changed the game for me, especially on shorter/weekend trips. There are many versions of this kind of backpack, but this one has never led me astray. Shop here for THE carry-on backpack.

4. Crossbody Bag

I have written multiple blogs talking about the necessities of a GOOD crossbody bag not just for convenience and comfort but for safety too. Instead of having to carry a big backpack around while sight seeing attracts a lot of attention, a crossbody bag assures you keep all of your valuables near you and in your sight. My absolute favorite crossbody bag is the Fjällräven Kånken Sling. It is the most comfortable bag to wear and although “small”, it has so much space for all of your needs. The back pocket I use for my most valuables such as wallet, passport, and phone, while the big pocket I used for all of my daily/travel essentials. It also has a small clasp on the handles that once secured, it gives it one extra layer of protection against pickpockets.

5. Pill Organizer

I know this might be super random, but I LOVE my pill organizer. I call it my little pharmacy. It is the most convenient way of having all of your essential medications, such as Tylenol, Advil, allergy medicine, motion sickness medicine, etc. This pill organizer is small and has little compartments to organize all of your medications. Best part? IT’S ONLY $3!!! Click here to purchase!
